Mrs. Penelope Peacock (nee Plum, formerly Scarlet and Zaffer)
Penelope Plum was given up for adoption with her twin brother at birth. She and her brother Gregory were adopted rather quickly and moved to American and raised by an incredibly rich couple. Her father always favored her, as did her mother of Gregory. It wasn’t until the twins turned seven that their mother unexpectedly became pregnant. In the extreme joy of finally having a child of their own, Penelope and Gregory were pushed off to the care of their housekeepers and nannies. The birth of her sister, Isabelle caused an evil spark to awaken inside of Penelope. Whenever she had the opportunity, Penelope always found ways to tormenting her sister, both emotionally and physically. Her anger and resentment to her sister never completely subsided, but it got better. Her father died of a massive heart attack one week after he was found to be having an affair. Isabelle and Gregory never thought anything suspicious of their father’s death, but Penelope always new that their mother was the killer. In the event of his death, the family fortune would be divided between his three children, only after the death of his wife. He left his wife the option to spend as much as she needed after his passing. Gregory knew that there was no point arguing with their mother about saving money, so he left for college. Isabelle helped spend much of the money. Penelope slowly separated from her family and moved to London where she met a single father, Dr. James Scarlet. She was completely and utterly head over heels for the dashing doctor. She even grew very fond of his daughter, Cynthia Scarlet. It wasn’t a surprise when they married, but it was a surprise when she found out the James and her sister Isabelle had met two summers ago. They began to reminisce and act friendlier and friendlier towards each other, despite the constant reminder that it was all platonic. Penelope was at the end of her patience when little Cynthia accidentally knocked over her father’s pills. In panic of getting in trouble she quickly filled the bottles, mixing many pills in the process. James died of heart failure shortly after. Penelope then proceeded to murder her sister Isabelle by strangling her in her sleep. Penelope called her best friend and confidante, Francesca Thorn who helped cover up both James and Isabelle’s murders. After desecrating James’ corpse they claimed that Isabelle had stabbed him and that Penelope fought her off, strangling her in the process. Penelope left London with Cynthia and moved to Ireland where she met a man named Earnest Zaffer. She quickly married and lived as happily as she could for four years. It wasn’t until he began to hint at his lustful feelings for teenage, Cynthia, that Penelope pushed him from an ocean liner during a convenient storm. Her third husband, Sir Mathew Peacock was the true love of her life. His death was unfortunately caused by a massive heart attack. Mrs. Peacock began to lose hope in everything. Her mother became ill which meant the finest medicines and no possible hope for an inheritance. Mrs. Peacock accidentally stumbled upon her birth parents, Celeste Curry and Hugh Black. She was both mortified to find out that she was the result of incest and at the fact that if her adoptive mother found out that she was communicating with her birth parents that she would be cut off from what little remained in the family name. Mrs. Peacock became desperate. She knew that a scandal of the richest man in town having slept with his sister as a teenage would make its way back to America. She found Hugh’s father and convinced him to help her murder Hugh, Celeste, and anyone who got in the way of what she needed to do…
